Recently Hollywood male celebrities came forward to support and advocate Emma Watson and #HeForShe. Read on to learn more about Movie News Guide’s (MNG) report about Hollywood male celebrities supporting Emma Watson and #HeForShe.

According to an article posted on Hollywood.com, HeForShe is a “solidarity movement for gender equality. ” It is a new campaign by U.N. launched Watson and UN Women “to persuade men all over the globe to stand up and speak out against the discrimination faced by women and girls.”

Tom Hiddleston is the leading the list of men who lend their voice and face to Emma Watson’s new gender equality initiative. The “Avengers,” actor described the actress “impeccable and extraordinary” after she delivered a stirring speech in her role as UN Women Ambassador in New York over the weekend.

“For the record, feminism by definition is: ‘The belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities,” she said while giving a formal invitation to male members of her audience to join her in her campaign, in which she said, “I’m inviting you to step forward, to be seen, and to ask yourself…if not me, who? If not now, when?” Check out the rest of her speech here.

“@EmWatson you are impeccable and extraordinary,” Hiddleston tweeted alongside a sincere image of his face, holding up a piece of paper with the tag #HeForShe written on it. “I stand with you. I believe in gender equality.”

He followed it up by posting a link to her speech, quoting her phrase: “Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong.”

Other household names who have pledged to the #HeForShe campaign include The Riot Club actor Douglas Booth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sean Pegg, Harry Styles, Chris Rankin, Matthew Lewis, Kevin Durand, Chris Kluwer, Logan Lerman, Chris Colfer, Gregg Sulkin, Neil Gaiman, Forest Whitaker,Luke Pasqualino, Luke Newberry,,James Van Der Beek, Russell Crowe and more.

Hiddleston’s support came following Watson being threatened of a nude photo leak, supposed to have been devised by 4Chan hackers and might have been a hoax. The site displayed a picture of Watson wiping a tear from her eye at the same time as a digital timer counted down the seconds to the so-called leak. After millions visited the page “Emma You Are Next” and shared it through social media Tuesday, the page was eventually redirected to rantic.com.

The site claimed that the message was aimed at shutting down 4chan. The leak might have been a hoax designed to draw attention to the intimidation of 4chan to the people with the online presence.

“Dear humans, in the digital age we have a new kind of terror going on and it is called 4chan, help us take down the terrorist group 4chan,” tweeted Rantic, perchance hoping that the paparazzi would cover the hoax as an anti-4chan campaign.

Now they have shred a very differently opinionated message: We would like to apologize! We do not want 4chan down nor do we want censorship. 4chan has united the internet and is our family. #KEEP4CHAN,” tweeted Rantic marketing.

Whatsoever might be the reason behind Rantic marketing doing so, but it’s very inhuman to use such noble cause for despicable marketing.
