‘Empire’ Spoilers and Updates: A New Single and More Family Woes and Guest Stars

Aside from its dramatic storytelling, one of the biggest things that draws fans and viewers to “Empire” is the music that is featured in the series, and the fact that music videos featuring the songs, and the songs themselves can be found on different digital formats. In the upcoming episode, “Without A Country”, a new single will be introduced, and will also feature several famous guest stars, as well as returning faces from the first season of the show. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers on “Empire” Season 2 Episode 2 “Without A Country”, and will contain information on the new single that will be released hand in hand with this episode. Read on only to learn more about the second episode of the current season, as well as to learn more about the show’s new single.

According to Billboard, Veronika Bozeman, otherwise known as V.Bozeman, will be featured in the upcoming episode, “Without A Country.” She will be singing and introducing the single “Hourglass,” which was actually written and produced by “Empire” star Terrence Howard, who plays Lucious Lyon, and musician Max Beesley.

Fans and viewers may remember her as the person who drew in many to continue watching “Empire.” Her rich and soulful vocals amazed audiences and viewers when she sang the first few measures of “What is Love” in the first few minutes of the pilot episode, in one of the booths at Empire, with Lucious and Anika Calhoun (Grace Gealey) looking on.

To date, Bozeman is currently signed up with Mosley Music Group, which is owned by the music producer of the show, Timbaland.

The song, which, according to Billboard, was written during a low point in Howard’s life, showcases Bozeman’s the full extent and range of her powerful vocals.

Aside from Bozeman, according to Spoiler TV, who also released the press release for the upcoming episode, other stars, such as Kelly Rowland, Andre Royo,Becky G. and Ludacris will be featured in the episode as well.

Empire’s Twitter account also recently confirmed that Hakeem Lyon’s (Bryshere Gray) girlfriend, Tiana Brown (Serayah McNeill) will also be in the episode.

According to Spoiler TV, Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson), will create her own music company. It will immediately hit several snags as each member of the new company has different visions for the company.

Hakeem will then form a girl group and will try to get close to Becky G’s character in order to prove himself to everyone.

Meanwhile, Lucious, still behind bars, gets a new lawyer in the form of Andre Royo, and comes up with a new song; while Jamal Lyon (Justin Smollett) manages to alienate others even further as he makes several key business decisions for Empire.
