Is It The End For ‘Gravity Falls’ Following Weirdmageddon?
‘Gravity Falls’ Spoilers: What Will Great Uncle Ford do That Will Change the Fate of the Entire Town in ‘The Stanchurian Candidate?’

“Gravity Falls” fans, the apocalypse is here. As Season 2 ends, so is the start of Weirdmageddon, which will put the Mystery Shack as well as the whole of Gravity Falls’ future in question.

Bill Cipher will wreak havoc into town with new monsters with him. Dipper and Mabel will be caught off guard with the new creatures that they have to face as well as the destruction that is happening all around them. On the other hand, they are the only ones who can save the town before anything even worse happens.

Is Weirdmageddon the end for “Gravity Falls?” This is the one question the fans have been dying to know the answer to. Series creator Alex Hirsch was asked about this, but he evaded the question, but he said according to Geekdad that, “Weirdmageddon is a massive, multipart mini-movie that rounds out and finishes Season 2 and is only going to get weirder and weirder as it progresses.”

“The concept of the series was always designed to be something with a beginning, a middle, and an end. It was always meant to be one finite story. It was designed to be a mystery with one particular set of answers and one trajectory. I always had a picture in my head of how long I wanted it to go, more or less, and the story I wanted to tell.” Hirsch said.

So there you have it “Gravity Falls” fans, the future of the series following Weirdmageddon is still uncertain. Although of course we want another season of the show. About that, we’ll know pretty soon enough.
