Sports stars, as well as celebrities, gathered at the Nokia Theatre on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, for the 2014 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award (ESPY). Drake hosted the event, and other famous faces from Hollywood and sports world including Jessica Alba, Kiefer Sutherland, Cameron Diaz, and Maria Sharapova  presented the winners for the Best Male Athlete, Best Team, and Best Breakthrough Athlete. The annual awards ceremony from ESPN, ESPY Awards, acknowledges the achievements in sports, both as an individual and as a team. The  ESPY Awards 2014 nominations list was full of outstanding athletes, with Kevin Durant and Ronda Rousey winning the Best Male and Female Athletes respectively.
