EXO Chen to Perform ‘Best Luck’ In Concert With CNBLUE; EXO Blocks Tao From Giving Kris A Favor?
EXO Chen starts practice for “In the Heights” musical.

EXO member Chen will perform solo on stage on Sep. 4 at the Olympic Stadium, Seoul, South Korea for the 2015 Grand Hallyu Festival. Did EXO block Tao in posting good about Kris? Read on for more details.

South Korean entertainment company S.M. Entertainment confirmed the EXO member’s performance via a poster for the said festival.

One of the possible songs EXO Chen (real name Kim Jong-dae) might be performing is his “Best Luck,” an OST song for “It’s Okay, That’s Love.” The performance of the 22-year-old singer for the hit single gave him awards as Best OST by a Male Artist and Best OST Song in the 5th So-Loved Awards and the 16th Seoul International Youth Film.

Along with Chen, Allkpop reported that other popular K-Pop stars are also set to perform at the festival such as CNBLUE (Code Name Blue), BtoB, Beast, and others.

Meanwhile, EXO D.O. (Do Kyung-soo) was reportedly considering a lead role in the upcoming feature film “Hyung.” According to Soompi, S.M. Entertainment confirmed the news stating the EXO member was positively assessing the said offer.

The EXO band member would take on the role of a young brother who went through an unfortunate accident. D.O. would then be working with actor Jo Jung Suk, who was reportedly finalizing negotiations for the said movie.

Although not confirmed, speculations said Jo Jung Suk would play as D.O.’s older brother. And once casting is complete, filming would start around October.

EXO has gone through the pain of having its talented members leave. The group saw Kris (Wu Yifan) and Luhan (Lu Han) splitting from the group in 2014.

Last April, Tao (Huang Zitao) also left the group due to some health reasons and inadequate career development. In an interview with Sina via Koreaboo, Tao said he was thankful for S.M. Entertainment.

Recalling about his statement against Wu Yifan, Tao was repentant of what he did. He said he is regretful and learned about it.

Tao also said he wanted to post about Wu Yifan being a good brother and friend. And when asked why he did not post it, he said there was no way to do it them because he was still with EXO.

Actually, I even asked my manager if I could post those things; he said yes. However, my friends said I definitely should not post them, many people would begin talking,” Tao said.
