Recently, rumors related to the South Korean band EXO preparing for an album to release at Christmas time are rife and now a statement has arrived from the side of its owner company SM Entertainment which rather than clearing the rumors, placed fans in the state of confusion only meaning no confirmed reports yet about whether EXO will release an album on Christmas or not.
A spokesperson on behalf of the company said, “Nothing concrete has been set about an EXO Christmas album,” revealed Newsen.
The rumor related to the boys’ band coming up with a Christmas release started with a post shared on social media by a Hollywood-based production company, which deals in K-pop only titled Joombas Music Group.
Established in the year 2013, Joombas was officially announced to work with bands like Girls’ Generation, Teen Top, SHINee including EXO.
If the rumors related to EXO’s releasing a Christmas album are true then it will be a second release for the group on Christmas. The band released a six-track EP titled “Miracles in December,” previously in 2013’s December. The 2013’s album was a huge success with its mix, soulful and tender songs on the music chart boxes and almost beat all the competitors.
Well, it seems something is definitely cooking inside the SM Entertainment and EXO’s team and it is confirmed with the way the spokesperson stated information. And with not confirming the next act of the band we can speculate that another album will soon go to hit the market, if not Christmas than possibly on New Year. So, hope for the best and wish good luck to the band.
