“The Expendables 4” is still in the list of much-anticipated films despite the dissatisfying box office result received from the third installment. The response from the worldwide fans is actually one of the main reasons that are incessantly inspiring the filmmakers not only to continue with the works but to give their full endeavor to make the best sequel in “The Expendables” franchise.
According to Christian Today, Pierce Brosnan has reportedly agreed to be a part in the fourth installment of “The Expendables,” along with the action stars and wrestlers like Dwayne Johnson and Hulk Hogan. The website reports that there is an expectation from 1984’s “The Terminator” actor Arnold Schwarzenegger to reprise his role as Trench Mauser. On the other hand, the return of Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross is mandatory as “The Expendables 4” won’t be possible without him.
The “Furious 7” actor, Jason Statham, who was seen playing Lee Christmas in the first three films directly by Stallone himself, is highly thrilled to start shooting for “The Expendables 4.” He totally expressed his excitement in an interview with IGN. The 48-year old actor said that he had no problem agreeing to be a part of all the sequels being a big fan of Stallone.
It would have been a big fantastic ensemble for “The Expendables 4” if everyone’s favorite Jackie Chan and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had accepted Stallone’s offer to join the film. The bromance between Hollywood and Bollywood would have moved ahead another step if Salman had accepted the offer.
The next sequel titled “The Expendables 4” is slated to hit the theaters sometime in 2017.
