Balls have started rolling on “The Expendables 4” as lead and overall maker of the franchise Sylvester Stallone has already started to get the casting in order. Until now Hulk Hogan and Dwayne Johnson’s names have been popping up as the probable villains in the movie but now it seems Sylvester Stallone too has started to be vocal about how he wants the Rock to be in the movie.
According to Movie Pilot, Johnson since his debut in Hollywood has over time established himself as a marketable action hero with quite a few action roles to his name. Such is his reputation in the action genre that he has also been roped for “Shazam,” “Big Trouble in Little China,” “Predators 4” and “Furious 8.”
Following this impressive line-up, the “God of Action” Stallone has now expressed interest in casting him and Hogan as the antagonists of the fourth installment in “The Expendables.” Until now, both their names were being speculated given their comments about the franchise but with Stallone himself being so vocal about it. It makes us believe that this could soon become a sure thing.
Luckily, Johnson too has shown interest in being a part of “The Expendables 4.” A few months back, he took a friendly stab at the mercenary team saying that he does not want to be friends with the teams. Instead, he wants to hunt down each and every member of the team and warned them to send their souls to heaven because he is not going to leave them alive.
After the epic fight that occurred between Stallone and Steve Austin in “The Expendables,” it would be amazing to see either Stallone’s character Barney Ross or any worthy Expendable take on the Rock in a beast like fight. Something on the lines of the fight that took place between Vin Diesel and The Rock in “Fast and Furious 5.”
Yibada, on the other hand, reported that Sylvester Stallone has completed shooting “Creed,” which is expected to release on Nov. 25, 2015.
