The second season of “Faking It” is definitely changing the game! It can be recalled that Season 1 ended with Amy confessing to her best friend her true feelings, only to get rejected. Amy then ended up sleeping with Karma’s boyfriend, Liam. The exciting part for the upcoming season is when we learn of Lauren’s secret. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

The trailer revealed that Amy was determined not to let Karma know what happened between her and Liam. But how long can a secret like that be kept? However, that is not just the upcoming season’s concern, though. What’s with Lauren and her pills anyway? What are the pills for?

Producer Carter Covington gave light on what those pills are for.

“We’re going to find out Lauren’s secret in the premiere, and it’s a shocker. We’re going to find out that she was born intersex and that is going to be the driving force of our new season. A new character Theo (Keith Powers) is going to be a love interest for Lauren and she’s going to struggle with whether or not she’s going to tell him and she’ll struggle with her own issues about being born intersex, and how it affects her family,” said Covington to E! News.

Well, that was a SHOCKER, indeed!

He further explained that the team is focused on Lauren’s condition because it will explore how she is hyper-feminine. He also noted how they loved to tell a different story that the viewers have never seen before.

What do you think will happen when Amy, Karma, Shane and Liam find out Lauren’s secret? Will this definitely change how they treat her? Are you even more excited for “Faking It” Season 2? Let us know your thoughts by posting your comments below!
