Weaver and Tom battled on who’s going to fly the Falcon to the moon. They were surprised that Matt suggested to do it by drawing straws. Tom refused at first because there are “volunteers” just like him. Weaver approved his request, but they still went ahead with Matt’s suggestion.
Weaver and Pope fought after the former found him getting Tom and Weaver’s name out of the skitter skull. Pope confessed that the remaining survivors needed them, so he wanted to be the hero this time. Tom went on and drew Ben’s name. He even rigged the game by putting his name inside again.

While they were training, the Burned Overlord was watching them train. Lexi spied on them while the two Overlords talked. She learned that the Sensei Overlord knew something to stop her, but the Burned One just wanted to kill her for good. Later, Lexi and Sensei returned to training. Despite being untrained, she successfully killed Sensei. It was after he tried to break Lexi’s neck. She also admitted that her true identity and used her powers on Sensei.

Conchise faced the beamer problems while Hal worked on the bombs. He was still angry with Ben for making out with Maggie when he was about to forgive him for the first one. She admitted that it was because of the spikes. Before they left, Hal forgave his brother and joked that Matt might get Maggie in the end. Anne, on the other hand, acknowledged Tom’s brave move on joining the mission. She even gave him the book about Epictetus.
