5SOS Luke Hemmings is Looking for A Girlfriend? Is He Jealous Over Ashton Irwin and Bryana Holly’s PDA Photos?

Drummer Ashton Irwin praised 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) fans via Twitter recently because of the amazing support given to them. How did their song “She’s Kinda Hot” fare in the charts? Read on for more details.

5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) fans really astounded Ashton Irwin after learning that their “She’s Kinda Hot” single has already been played for more than a million times through the music streaming service, Spotify.

“YOU GUYS ALREADY LISTENED 2 MILLION TIMES!!!!!!!” Irwin tweeted, according to Unreality TV.

The band’s new song reportedly topped the charts, debuting at No. 6 in the United Kingdom in the middle of last week’s sales figures, despite the fact that the lead single was just released in a few days’ notice on Friday, July 17.  And though it lacked promotion, it still managed to capture the masses as shown through the massive followers listening to it in Spotify.

Nielsen Music revealed that last week’s tracking (July 17-23) showed “She’s Kinda Hot” song having 124,000 paid downloads in just a matter of seven days. It also landed at the No. 3 spot on the sales chart as well as No. 22 on the overall Billboard Hot 100, Headline Planet.com reported. The future is definitely bright for these boys!

Because of this skyrocketing success, it would be, so far, the second-highest-charting song that 5 Seconds of Summer ever released, with “Amnesia” landing at No. 16 in the Billboard Hot 100 list.

5SOS On Becoming World’s Biggest Band: ‘Do Right By the Fans, Then Maybe’

It is pretty obvious that the band’s career is soaring very high and very fast, with sold-out concerts here and there. And it is good news for 5SOS fans that the group wanted to be more careful this time around, keeping in mind that there are people out there looking up to them as well as the paparazzi.

“If you aren’t doing anything wrong, they can’t catch you out. Especially with past experiences, it has made me wary of things,” Irwin told News.com.au.

Members of 5 Seconds of Summer also dreamed of becoming the biggest band and the world and how they plan to do it was to “do right.”

“I feel if we make the right music, say the right things in the press and do right by the fans, then maybe,” Ashton Irwin said.
