According to Comicbook.com, Reddit user MrBlueFox takes it to Reddit for a few plot unveils of the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. It was said that he worked in the” film’s second cut.” Read on for more details on this story.
Comicbook reported that the Reddit user revealed top-secret details that have added to established rumors. The user’s information was treated as a rumor until “a trailer or direct word comes from the Studio itself.”
However, something that might pique the series fan’s interests was his spill on a certain love story between the characters.
“It manages to keep the basis of the characters despite the race change for Johnny and the uh… original love story between two of the characters (I won’t mention who),” MrBluefox said in his Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).
This might suggest that the film will see a potential Sue Storm and Ben Grimm love story such as the case in Marvel Ultimate’s universe. As a matter of a fact, the origins of the Fantastic Four’s powers in the upcoming reboot will also be inspired on the Ultimate’s storyline where the Ultimate Fantastic Four acquire their powers after being caught in a malfunctioning teleportation experiment instead of the classical spaceship bombarded with cosmic rays.
Moreover, the user also confirms that Victor Domashev will work at Mr. Storm’s firm, where he will work as an internet programmer. Domashev will then get his powers to become the villain Dr. Doom.
Based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, the upcoming “The Fantastic Four” will be the third theatrical “Fantastic Four” film to be distributed by 20th Century Fox and a reboot of the “Fantastic Four” film franchise. The reboot, which is said to be based in part on the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic books, will see some changes from the traditional Fantastic Four comic book fans knew. For instance, Sue Storm and Johnny Storm will now be adopted siblings, with Johnny Storm to be portrayed by a black actor. The reboot will also be reinventing the origins of the villain Doctor Doom, whose now named Victor Domashev instead of Victor Von Doom. The Doom on the reboot is an anti-social programmer, which pretty much strays far from the ruler of the fictional Eastern European country of Latveria character in the comics.
“Fantastic Four” stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Susan Storm/Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev /Doctor Doom, Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Storm and Tim Blake Nelson as Harvey Elder. Josh Trank is set to direct from a script to be written by Jeremy Slater from a story conceived by Kinberg and Trank.
Principal photography for the pic started in May 2014 and finished in August of the same year. The film was shot in location of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A possible sequel is scheduled to be released on July 14, 2017. “The Fantastic Four” is scheduled for release on Aug. 7, 2015 in North America, in 2D and 3D theaters.
