In a recent revelation, it is claimed that fashion designers aka businesswomen Mary-Kate Olsen and twin sister Ashley Olsen will not be appearing in sitcom sequel series “Fuller House.” It was earlier speculated that Olsen sisters’ will be reprising their roles in the sequel series. According to Huffington Post, actress Lori Loughlin who plays the role of Aunt Becky on the series has confirmed the news of fashion moguls Olsen sisters’ not reprising their roles as it has been suspected earlier.
It was announced earlier that “Fuller House” is about to reprise the cast from “Full House” everyone was pretty much sure about the twin’s roles. “Fuller House” features Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin in the main leads.
In a statement given by executive producer Robert L. Boyett during May, revealed that Olsen sisters’ are very much like a family and mean a lot to the series, but they would not be reprising their roles in the “Fuller House.”
The executive producer John Stamos also mentioned that he personally spoke to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen about reprising their roles, but they haven’t acted from a long time and are on a different path in their lives. He further stated that even though they are not a part of “Fuller House” they share an amicable bond.
“Fuller House” is scheduled to air on Netflix next year.
