Meyer further added, “Paul won’t be in it, but he’ll be represented in some form or another but whether his image is in it, I can’t tell you yet, but he won’t be in the film as a performer, as an actor, the way we did it last time.”
“Fast and Furious 8” has a confirmed return from CIA Agent Luke Hobbs [Dwayne “The Rocks” Johnson]. “Fast and Furious” spin-off will also have Luke Hobbs standalone movie. Johnson told Screen Rant, “We all are interested in it. I just had a big conversation with the studio. So we’ll see. I still think for me personally we’ve created a little bit of space for him in 7 and the gauge is set for what the audience will want. That’s my take on it, you know, but a lot of other people have to have input.”
