“Fast and Furious 8,” also being known as popular terms for franchise such as “Fast 8” or “Furious 8” is now sure to pick a director soon but it is not going to be Vin Diesel. Vin Diesel has expressed in the past that his mother wants him to direct the first part of last trilogy from “Fast and Furious” franchise.
Although, Vin Diesel showed no personal interest in directing the movie. The last and final trilogy from “Fast and Furious” franchise had also seen troubles when it came to directorial seat. Justin Lin denied to helm the project because he wanted to focus on “Star Trek Beyond,” though he is still involved in guiding the team.
Justin Wan also turned down the project on grounds of busy schedule with other projects, noted Variety. According to The Hollywood Reporter, three directors are currently considered, including “Straight Outta Compton” director F. Gary Gray, “The Incredible Hulk” director Louis Leterrier and, Adam Wingard of “The Guest.”
IMDb still notes that Cody Walker is rumored to return as Jack O’ Conner, Brian O’ Conner’s brother. Also, one of the trivia from the page has dropped the major clue saying, “Rumors suggest Cody Walker will play Brian’s brother Jack O’Conner, this could only mean that Brian’s son Jack is named after his brother.”
This big clue leads us back to return of Jack O’ Connor as Brian O’ Conner’s brother. Enstarz has reported in the past that Paul Walker’s brother Cody Walker good terms with the “Fast and Furious” franchise team might get him considered for next big movie from the franchise.
In the past, Michelle Rodriguez told People that since Paul Walker was not fan of crazy plot lines, green-screen and animated effects, they are trying to take back “Fast and Furious 8” to racing.
