“Fast and Furious 8” will be the first installment of the high-octane road caper series without actor Paul Walker in the beginning. Dubbed as “Furious 8,” fans have been asking for the moon as to who will suit up for the vacated driver’s seat of the deceased actor.
According to Master Herald, fans and critics alike have come to an agreement that it would be beneficial for the upcoming film to “introduce a best friend” of one of the characters despite its tight-knit family set-up between individuals involved in the narrative.
Kurt Russell has been one of the names in the past few months that has been constantly thrown in the mix to fill the void of the franchise. Russell is no stranger to the fold, as he had a supporting role of a covert agent in “Furious 7” named Mr. Nobody. Another actor who confirmed that his character will definitely be back is “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson who plays the ripped bodied adrenaline junkie Hobbs.
As reported by Collider, The Rock’s adrenaline junkie with a ripped body character named Hobbs will be on set for “Furious 8.” Both actors will be more than just fill up the slack especially if both make the cutting room floor in the next few months.
An unlikely candidate for the ride is Paul Walker’s younger brother, Cody Walker. The young stuntman has been in rumorville as Enstarz reports, ever since “Furious 7” mentioned that he was involved in the technical assimilation of shots for his older brother.
The Fast and Furious franchise has churned out more than a million revolutions per minute since its inception. A combination of sending cars and trucks beyond earthbound flight and a dramatic sketch of multifaceted characters has made this one of the highest grossing franchise for Universal Pictures.
The release date for Fast and Furious 8 has been set as April 14, 2017.
