“Fast and Furious 8” lead actor Vin Diesel who plays the character of Dominic Toretto was almost about the reveal the end of the trilogy! “Fast and Furious 8” or as Diesel likes to call it “Fast 8” will have two more sequels ahead of it and Diesel knows how it ends!
In one of his interviews with MTV, Vin Diesel held back and just confirmed that he is well aware of the end of the “Fast and Furious 8” trilogy. He further added about casting to divert from the topic.
“They’ve gotta get in line behind Helen Mirren. She is on the list. Be careful what you wish for, Helen.” Diesel said.
Although, there had been no further confirmation of Mirren being part of “Fast and Furious” franchise. There are strong rumors that Paul Walker’s character Brian O’ Connor might be in for a cameo to help Mia Toretto [Jordana Brewster] make a comeback.
Also, the movie is going old school to racing roots in New York. “Fast and Furious 8” will be directed by F. Gary Gray and script will be by Gary Scott Thompson. Official “Furious 8” IMDb page says that Eva Mendes might return as Agent Fuentes.
Confirmed cast for the “Fast and Furious 8” is Dominic Toretto by Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs, Deckard Shaw will be played by Jason Statham and, Michelle Rodriguez as Lettie ‘Ortiz’ Toretto. Also, joining the cast are Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce and, Ludacris as Tej Parker.
Cody Walker will not be part of the franchise anymore. “Fast and Furious 8” will be produced by Vin Diesel and Neal H. Moritz.
According to KpopStarz, Moritz confirmed movie to be character centric.
“We’re trying to do what we always do, which is trying to come at it from a character point of view and figure out where the characters would go from here… We’re really talking about the characters, where they all sit right now. It’s a huge challenge.” Moritz said.
