“The Lord of the Rings” (2001-2003) actor Elijah Wood has already worked on a movie with Vin Diesel and now he wants to join the casts of “Fast and Furious.” Wood may be one of the most important characters of “The Last Witch Hunter” and Diesel’s right hand, but he wants to take their relationship to the next level. Read the texts below to get a scoop of it.
The 34-year-old Wood not only wants to be a part of the next “Fast and Furious” film, he has already achieved himself a perfect role for him in his mind. He wants to be the son of “One Race Films” founder Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto.
“What if I was his illegitimate son that just, like, pops up in [Fast and Furious] 9. It would be pretty awesome,” Wood said to People at a special screening of “The Last Witch Hunter” in the mid of October that took place in New York City.
According to Yibada, Wood had put a joke in order to make his role possible in “Fast and Furious.” He simply said that there must be a “viral campaign to convince Diesel.”
“He’s a big personality and I think what’s interesting about him was getting to know sort of the fantasy nerd side of him. He grew up reading fantasy novels, so that was cool,” Wood told the publication about Diesel.
Having worked with the 48-year-old Diesel in “The Last Witch Hunter,” Wood discovered that both have something in common. According to him, he is also fond of fantasy like Diesel. He further elaborated saying “It was fun, wild, hard to contextualize.”
There is no doubt that “Furious 7” has achieved a billion dollar success and this record paves the way for “Fast and Furious 8.” However, the making of “Fast and Furious 8” isn’t announced, but Universal revealed its future plan to release a trilogy that would finally close the franchise.
