Do you think all the celebrities who have passed away have been on the headlines when they died? Perhaps, the answer could be “Yes” only for huge stars. While some infamous celebrities who have been less in the spotlight, have died without any media attention.
Teena Marie, whose original name is Mary Brocket, died in 2010 at the age of 54 because of the seizures that resulted due to the tragic fall of a picture frame on her in 2004. She has given many music hits such as “Ooo La La La,” “Square Biz,” and “Lovergirl.”
Holly Lewis had a mysterious death at the age of 46. The cause of her death was not disclosed. She has made her appearance in the popular shows such as “Train 48” and “The Newsroom,” and in the film “These Girls.”
Glenn Quinn, the young actor who appeared as Mark Healy on the sitcom “Roseanne,” was found dead at the age of 32 due to heroin overdose in 2002. He has also acted in nine episodes of “Angel,” the spin-off series of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
Zoe Lund, the cast of the 1981 film “Ms. 45,” and the writer of the 1992 film “Bad Lieutenant,” was dead at the age of 37 in 1999, due to heroin and cocaine addiction.
Richard Griffiths, Tony Award winning actor, died in 2013 at the age of 65 due to complications after his heart surgery. He was best known as Vernon Dursley in the “Harry Potter” franchise.
The 1995 classic movie “Mortal Kombat” star was found dead in his home due to overdose of drugs such as heroin and cocaine, in the year 2003. The actor, who aspired to become a famous musician, has also starred in 42 episodes of “JAG,” a hit TV show.
Michelle Thomas, who starred as Justine, Theo’s girlfriend in “The Cosby Show,” died in 1998 due to a rare type of cancer. She has also appeared on the show “Family Matters.”
Sunny Johnson, who starred as figure skater Jeanie in “Flashdance” movie, was found unconscious in her home in 1984. The actress’ family decided to give her peace by taking her off from the life support.
“You Can’t Do That On Television,” show famous Les Lye died at the age of 85 in 2009 due to diabetes, seven years later he suffered a heart attack.
Len Lesser, who has appeared in “Seinfeld” and the film “Kelly’s Heroes,” died at the age of 88 in 2011, due to pneumonia and cancer.
Chris Penn, David Graf, Alice Playten, Thuy Trang, Justin Pierce, Earl Hindman, Lynne Thigpen, Romi Koch, Wendy Jo Sperber, and Nicole DeHuff are some of the other celebrities who have passed away, but not given media recognition.
