Delay after delay has discouraged the fans of “Fifty Shades Darker.” They are unsatisfied and have also started to lose interest in it as well. Will the whole production and casting team still pull it off now that they are on the verge of losing the fans? Read On!
In the report from Christian Post, the delays are mostly attributed to the production. Because of this, there are now concerns as to how the next installment will be accepted by viewers. The fans didn’t like the idea of having Niall Leonard as the new scriptwriter of the movie. Leonard is the spouse of the trilogy author E.L. James.
Aside from this, the fans also express their dissatisfaction with the new director since it will now be handled by a male who is James Foley. The last movie was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. There were reports that James and Johnson wasn’t able to work smoothly because of ‘some conflicts of interest. That could have been the determining factor why a new director was tapped for the movie.
These problems in the production are having its domino effect because of speculations that even the lead stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are facing challenges since they aren’t comfortable doing provocative scenes.
In the news from Movie Pilot as cited by Latinos Health, Dornan described in past interviews of what the character of Christian Grey demands from him. He said, “I had to do stuff to her that I’d never choose to do to a woman.” On the part of Johnson, the intercourse scenes seem to have emotionally devoured her.
