The excitement for “Fifty Shades Darker” seems to dwindle away as the sequel is once again DELAYED! But, WHY?
Ever since E.L. James released her book series “Fifty Shades of Grey,” fans’ excitement grew from wanting it to become a movie and then it did, and when the first movie was released, controversy and intrigue surrounded the movie as well as the cast. This made the anticipation and excitement even more palpable for the next movie.
Rumors and speculations about the upcoming “Fifty Shades Darker” are all over the Internet and the main stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are being plagued by so much gossip. The talk about it just won’t die down… until today.
“Fifty Shades Darker” have been delayed in production once, and it seems like it’s going to get delayed again. James Foley is the new director of the movie, replacing Sam Taylor-Johnson.
However, recent reports say that the movie isn’t progressing as expected. It is expected that the movie should be in its production phase as of the moment, but it doesn’t look like that at all. The good news is that the team behind the movie is working very hard to put the production back on its scheduled filming.
Meanwhile, if the delays persist, the release date of “Fifty Shades Darker,” February 10, 2017, might be moved due to production delays. The reason behind this delay is still unknown, though. It is quite surprising as well, since there is already a director announced for the second movie installment, yet they get delayed.
The team behind “Fifty Shades Darker” have also gone through a lot of changes, from looking for a new director and just recently, Niall Leonard, the husband of E.L. James, announced as the new scriptwriter of the movie. These changes just might be the reason why production delays are happening. Tune in here to get the latest updates on “Fifty Shades Darker.”
