Jamie Dornan was an unknown person to many when he was selected for the role of Christian Grey. Many eye brows were raised when the British actor was selected ahead of more complete and accomplished actors and further given the fact what Christian Grey’s character was to be it, the task was difficult than ever. However, Dornan played the character extremely well and earned deservedly the credit for “Fifty Shades of Grey” to be a huge hit in 2015.
According to Realtytoday, Jamie Dornan, while talking to People Magazine could not hide his excitement to feature in “Fifty Shades Darker,” the upcoming sequel to the E.L. James Trilogy. Dornan said that he was relieved with the success of “Fifty Shades of Grey” since it was a tough task. The success further boosted the confidence of the 33-year-old and he is ready to play a more intense role in the upcoming movies.
While the obsession with the BDSM continues, reports suggest the upcoming movies will feature more mature and intense scenes. It will be interesting to see how the editing of the movie is done since “Fifty Shades of Grey” already was stamped with R rating with no frontal nudity.
According to Designntrend, Jamie Dornan’s co star Dakota Johnson has more or less the same feeling about the upcoming sequel. Johnson was speaking with Elle Magazine when she revealed she had no issues with the nudity of the film. She added that the scenes will be more intimate this time around and since the younger crowd would be blocked from viewing any of it, the scenes won’t be an issue.
With a male director, James Foley, replacing a women director for the upcoming movie, there was quite a bit of unrest caused among the stars but some or the other way that has been put to rest. With E.L. James Trilogy is set to resume in February 2017 and continue with the final part to be released immediately next year, the waiting period has been cut short.
