The “Fifty Shades” Trilogy from E.L. James has already created a mass fan following for the book. But, when the movie was released, it created even more fan base. People were eagerly waiting for the star cast to be announced for the first of the trilogy movie series. And when the star cast was announced, everyone’s eyes were turned to Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson’s daughter Dakota Johnson, as she was selected to play Anastasia Steele’s role in the movie.
The book worms already knew what a tough ask it is to play the character of “Anastasia”. But eye lids were raised even further when Dakota Johnson played exceeding the expectations of the viewers. She cemented her place as “Anastasia” and rapidly became fan favorite.
With “Fifty Shades Darker” announced, fans around the globe are eagerly following the developments of the film. Much to the excitement of the fans of Johnson, while talking with “People,”she revealed her admiration for her role of “Anastasia” while comparing the same with the character of “Alice” in her new upcoming film “How to be Single”.
According to Realtytoday.com she said, “Alice is a smart and sensitive woman, figuring out what it means to not rely on a relationship to make her happy”. while, Anastasia is described as a young woman who is consumed by her feelings for a man. Anastasia, although smart, will find it difficult to stand up for herself against Christian uttered the confident Johnson.
According to Yibada.com Dakota Johnson is ready to do anything for the role of Anastasia Steele as she admires the role more than anything. It remains to be seen who the star cast is for second film of the trilogy.
As all eyes are upon the character of Leila Williams, who was Christian’s earlier submissive. Leila Williams is a strong character unlike Anastasia and will have considerable influence over her. It will be interesting to see how their chemistry works on screen. But, unfortunately we’ll have to wait until early 2017.
