“Fifty Shades Darker” is probably one of the most anticipated sequels following the release of its immediate predecessor, “Fifty Shades of Grey” earlier this year. While the sequel is still a long way to go before it hits theatres, fans have already begun speculating several theories and ideas on what will take place in the upcoming film. Will there be a love triangle taking place between Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan and Henry Cavill? Read on to learn more about this scoop.
“Fifty Shades Darker” will see the return of Dornan as Christian Grey and Johnson as Anastasia Steele. While Dornan and Johnson’s return in the sequel has already been set in stone, new faces and cast members are yet to be announced.
The movie sequel will be covering E.L. James’ second book from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy. It will see the introduction of new characters to shake things up between Christian and Ana.
Charlize Theron is currently the fan-favorite actress being slated to play as Christian’s former dominatrix, Elena Lincoln. 22-year-old model Cara Delevingne, on the other hand, is rumored to play the role of Christian’s former submissive, Leila Williams.
While “Superman” Cavill’s participation in “Fifty Shades Darker” as Jack Hyde is still to be taken with a grain of salt, The Stir reported that Jack Hyde will be getting in between Christian and Ana’s relationship in the upcoming sequel.
For those of you who have read the books, Jack turns out to be much more than just Ana’s maniac boss and shares a deeper history with Christian. The outlet cited though that the producers of the movie could change Jack into a “more sympathetic character who Anna actually falls for.”
Judging from the way things are between Ana and Christian, it does not look like it will go pretty well with the fans/ It was if Ana’s emotions and feelings for Christian will be easily swayed by someone like Jack Hyde.
Meanwhile, Eloise Mumford, who played the role of Ana’s best friend, Katherine ‘Kate’ Kavanagh on “Fifty Shades of Grey” revealed (via Melty) that fans will see her character turn into a “very protective friend and a very passionate and fiery person,” after finding out about Ana and Christian’s BDSM contract.
“Fifty Shades Darker” movie premieres on Feb. 10, 2017. Stay tuned on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates.
