With the fresh success of Fifty Shades Darker in the box office comes the announcement of the release date of the final installment of the trilogy. Next year, a week before Valentine’s Day, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele will see the consummation of their love story. As hinted in the finale of the second movie, the pair finally says “I do” in Fifty Shades Freed.
Despite the negative reviews, the movie made money. On Valentine’s Day, it made $11 million. It earned more money than The LEGO Batman Movie and John Wick 2. With the number of sex scenes shown in first two movies, what will Fifty Shades Freed offer? E.L. James previously revealed that she wants to explore areas where Christian and Ana’s story can go.
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s characters will settle down and will give a legal bond to their relationship. They will finally get married and have children. But they have to face the unresolved issues from the past.
According to Pop Sugar, Ana will discover that she is pregnant while taking care of Ray, her stepfather. But the baby news will not make Christian Grey happy. He thinks that the baby will be competing with him for Ana’s attention. Christian thinks that she will eventually choose the baby over him.
Fifty Shades Freed: What To Expect?
Right after their honeymoon, they will face some challenges of their union. Ana’s former employer Jack Hyde will try to kidnap her but he chooses Mia Grey to become his victim. Then, he will ask Ana to pay a $5 million ransom. Ana will shoot Hyde in the leg and he will end up in the hospital.
Mrs. Robinson will not stop meddling in the life of the new couple. Christian continues to see Elena Lincoln. He will discover that Hyde came from the same foster home where he stayed as a kid.
Ana and Christian will have two kids together including one girl and a boy. Their love story has finally reached home as the couple focuses on family life.
The story seems boring without the usual sexy scenes which will surely be incorporated by the scriptwriter. The movie’s selling point is sex as critics say and definitely, it will not be lost in the movie. How E.L. James will fuse the said scenes into the story is what is worth knowing. Fifty Shades Freed will hit the theaters on February 9, 2018. Stay tuned for more updates.
