It was like 10 years ago when we first met “Finding Nemo” and fell totally in love with it and now after waiting for more than a decade, Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios in now ready to show the sneak preview of “Finding Nemo’s” sequel, “Finding Dory” along with Pixar and Disney’s other upcoming films. On Aug. 14, 2015, at Hall D23 Walt Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California Pixar and Disney Animation Studios are going to give the world a sneak preview of the “Finding Dory.” It is set to be a sequel to the blockbuster “Finding Nemo”.
The Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios John Lasseter will be presenting the new films at the CA expo hall. According to D23 website, Lasseter will present the world with all new footage from Pixar and Disney’s “The Good Dinosaur,” “Finding Dory,” “Zootopia,” and “Moana.” Not only this, the event will also feature some new performances along with few surprise announcements.
Ellen DeGeneres, the TV hostess will be giving the voice of Dory as she explores the reuniting with her family. According to the reports, “Finding Dory” will take place six months to a year after the events in the original Finding Nemo.
In a joint statement with the filmmaker Andrew Stanton, DeGeneres said that she has waited a long time for Finding Dory.
“The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is — it’s got a lot more Dory.” DeGeneres said.
Along with DeGeneres, Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy will be joining as the voice over artists for “Finding Dory” for the roles of Dory’s parents, Jenny and Charlie respectively. “Finding Dory” is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2016.
