The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards celebrated every year to honor the outstanding in U.S. prime time television programs. The programs include from June 1, 2013 until May 31, 2014. Nominees are selected by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Read on to learn more about the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards presenters.
This year, will be held on Monday, Augs 25, 2014 at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The ceremony is being held one month earlier than usual, because of NBC’s clash with the broadcast of Sunday Night Football. The ward show will be aired in the U.S. through NBC.
The date also circumvents a conflict with the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Late-night talk show host Seth Meyers, a well-known comedian from “Saturday Night Live,” will host the show for the first time.
Ahead of its schedule, the firs batch of awards presenters were already announced. Producers tapped the stars from “Breaking Bad,” “True Detective,” and “The Voice” to hand out the awards to winners at the awards ceremony.
As of now Executive producer Don Mischer announced 13 presenters including many of Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe, and Tony winners. Some of the presenters are also nominated for an Emmy at the awards show.
Other presenters include other Emmy nominees such as Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad“), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (“Veep“), Julianna Marguilies (“The Good Wife“), Jim Parsons (“The Big Bang Theory“), Kerry Washington (“Scandal“) and Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation“).
