A recently married actor has joined “Downton Abbey” for a very brief appearance. Who do you think he is? Well, he’s one of the hottest guys in Hollywood. Read on for more details.

According to Telegraph, Clooney has been pictured at the set of “Downton Abbey” together with Hugh Bonneville who plays Lord Crawley. Clooney is to star in a very special spin-off sketch for the show. Before Clooney showed up on the set, his co-stars have doubts regarding his appearance on the show due to his very busy schedule, especially that he recently got married to Amal Alamuddin.

They were pretty surprised when Clooney appeared on the set at the Highclere estate, where they are currently filming for “Downton Abbey.” Laura Carmichael also relayed information on Clooney planting a kiss on the Dowager Countess played by Dame Maggie Smith.

“He came and filmed with us for an afternoon back in May when we were doing this Text Santa sketch, and he was incredibly generous with his time and his talent,” Bonneville said.

Bonneville and Clooney has already worked together on “The Monument Men,” which was also directed by Clooney. His role on the show is an American wedding guest who will briefly visit “Downton Abbey.”
