“Doctor Who” fans, Doctor Number Twelve has been revealed! And not only that, now we know when “Doctor Who” Series 8 will premiere judging from their first released promo of it. Read on for the first look at “Doctor Who” Series 8.
According to Entertainment Weekly, BBC America has released their first teaser for “Doctor Who” Series 8. This series marks Peter Capaldi’s big debut as he is the Doctor Number Twelve. However, the whole footage doesn’t give much away but only Capaldi’s silhouette that is so easily recognisable, it’s enough to get “Doctor Who” fans excited.
With regards to the “Doctor Who” Series 8’s premiere date, there’s still no official announcement of when it will actually air, but what we know for sure is that it’s happening sometime in August 2014. So, watch out for the official statement of its airing date because we will deliver the amazing news to you. We are also waiting if the new season will be released on the same day for BBC and BBC America or if it will be two different dates for the networks.
Plus, there is a new villain coming named Ms. Delphox, which will be played by Keeley Hawes and there have also been reports regarding Danny Pink’s arrival played by Samuel Anderson.
The first episode of “Doctor Who”Series 8 will be written by Steven Moffat and will be directed by Ben Wheatley. Episode titles haven’t been released as well, so tune in here at MNG.
