A brand-new medical drama is coming to NBC, “The Night Shift.” We are all familiar of their hit medical drama “ER” and with this new drama that they are going to release, will it give us the same magic that “ER” has given fans before that got them so hooked on the show and turned it into a network hit? Read on to find out about this new show.
According to Variety, “The Night Shift” revolves around the chaos that goes on inside the San Antonio Memorial Hospital where most of their doctors have served in the military and they are all working for their patients who are usually in the low-income variety to save their lives. The show was developed by Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah (“Freaks and Geeks,” “Life as We Know It”).
Cast members include Jill Flint (“Royal Pains”) who plays the role of the leader, Freddy Rodriguez (“Six Feet Under”) who is the administrator, Ken Leung (“Lost”), Brendan Fehr (“Roswell”), Eoin Macken and Daniella Alonso (“Revolution”).

If you’re fond of hospital dramas like “ER” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” then this is just the perfect TV show that you should not miss tonight. One of the best things about the show, and most probably their strongest element comes from their cast, which will make everything worthwhile.
