First Trailer for ‘Divergent Series: Allegiant’: Watch Tris, Four go Over the Wall to Meet Jeff Daniels
“Divergent: Allegiant – Part 2” stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James wants new film with George Clooney.

Beatrice Pryor and Tobias “Four” Eaton are back! Well, in the first teaser trailer for “Allegiant” at least. And this time they are going over the wall. Watch the teaser after this break.

While the “Allegiant” trailer makes us wait for the 1:04 seconds mark to show us any new footage, it is worth it, if only for Shailene Woodley’s new hair (which is absolutely brilliant, in our opinion), and a surprise Jeff Daniels in the end (which is even more brilliant). He needs Beatrice to save the world, which we assume will happen over the course of this movie and the next, now named “The Divergent Series: Ascendant.”

For those not acquainted with there series,  “Insurgent” ends with our heroes having saved their dystopian city from a villainous Kate Winslet, and having discovered that ‘Divergence’ is the true superpower after all. Here are the high points of the “Allegiant” trailer.

Our heroes scale the wall and discover an arid wasteland on the other side. Which they, obviously, must now venture into to save the world and satisfy fans of the franchise. As Jeff Daniels’ ‘David’ puts it, “Tris. It is a pleasure to finally meet you. You saved a city. Help me save the world.”

There is also a fiery kiss between Tris and Four in “Allegiant,” whose reel romance has reportedly transcended into a real world affair between Woodley and James.

They have truly thrown away all pretensions of following Veronica Roth’s original novels for this. As Roth herself said earlier:

“I know changes always make fans of the books — and the author! — nervous, but hopefully the characters we know (and love. Or sometimes love to hate?) will still be intact, which is really the important thing. I am eager to see how these movies turn out, along with you guys.”

“The Divergent Series: Allegiant” is scheduled to premiere on Mar. 18, 2016.
