At long last, the epic crossover between “The Flash” and “Arrow”, which will introduce the “Legends of Tomorrow” spin-off has finally arrived. Since the day it was announced, information, pictures and clips pertaining to the crossover episodes have been shared, with information coming in little by little. However, just recently, an interesting new tidbit was dropped pertaining to the origins of the big bad of the episodes and of “Legends of Tomorrow”- Casper Crump’s Vandal Savage. WARNING: This article will contains spoilers regarding the crossover event between “The Flash” and “Arrow”. Read on to learn more about Vandal Savager’s origins.

Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), is a name that fans of CW superhero shows “The Flash” and the “Arrow” have heard repeatedly in the promotional materials, press releases and pictures of the upcoming crossover episodes between the two shows, and with regards to the spin-off show, “Legends of Tomorrow”.

However, for all of the character’s power, fans and viewers are not entirely sure as to who this villain is, and as to how he is tied to the main characters of that universe.

Thankfully, Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) or Hawkman, in a recently released clip that was shared on Comic Book.com and Screen Rant, managed to take the time to give a little history lesson to everyone’s favorite band of supeheroes, with the love of his life looking on.

In the clip, Carter is chained to a post in Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) Arrowcave, with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Oliver, Cisco Ramone (Carlos Valdes) and Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) looking on.

He then recognizes Kendra as his soulmate, Chay’Ara, and tells the astonished Kendra that with every reincarnation, they always end up finding each other, and told her that the combined forces of Team Arrow and Team Flash cannot keep her safe from Vandal Savage.

He then informs the group that Savage’s life force is tied to theirs, and that he hunts them down and kills them, because each team he kills Carter and Cay’Ara, the already immortal dictator becomes even more powerful than he was before.

Carter then informs them that he is planning for things to be different this time, as Savage has managed to kill him 206 times already.
