Several speculations have hinted that another well-known DC character is set to join the upcoming movie “Batman v. Superman:Dawn of Justice” starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Read on to learn more about this movie update.
Cinemablend reported that The Flash, DC’s resident speedster, may or may not appear for the highly anticipated film. Cinemablend also reported that actor Scoot McNairy was tapped by director Zack Synder for an unknown role.
Either McNairy plays the Flash, a deformed Robin or an entirely new DC character, no one will find out as of yet as McNairy keeps his role as a secret.
“I can’t even elaborate on nothing… but you know all those theories all of them are great. I hope to be a part of the DC Universe for a while,” said McNairy in an interview with Schmoes Know, which was posted on Cinemablend.
“I auditioned for it, you know, and met with Zack Snyder and after some time went by, I get a phone call and am asked to do this part, you know?” McNairy added.
Moreover, Ben Affleck’s “Argo” co-star was also caught on photo on set wearing green stockings, which speculated, maybe used for a digital manipulation for the film.
Earlier. Jason Momoa was confirmed to play as “Aquaman,” King of the Seven Seas, Aquaman. Another DC hero, Cyborg is rumored to be played by Ray Fisher. Moreover, An upcoming Justice League movie was announced to be in production.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will follow the story of both Batman and Superman, along with some other known DC characters — Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman — after the events of “Man of Steel,” where Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman.
The ensemble cast will also include Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons with Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne reprising their roles as Lois Lane and Perry White respectively. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is penned by “Argo” writer Chris Terrio and is directed by Zack Snyder.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will open in theaters on Mar. 25, 2016.
