The highly anticipated crossover of “Arrow” and “Flash” was done last week and it received wonderful ratings as well. With the crossover it is evident that DC is expanding its universe and might be planning to incorporate more characters from other franchises. New elements and story lines have been introduced in the series’ show which are speculated to be taken up later in the series for adjoining to more characters. The crossover loops will be carried ahead of the third series of DC Universe in the “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to Sreenrant, the mid-season finale of “Flash” will be based on a special Christmas theme and is said to re-establish the antagonist gang Rouges in the series. The finale will also be introducing Wally West to the clan marking the end of the season. “Flash” and “Arrow” will now focus on their respective stories in the series.

It was recently revealed in the footage that Patty Spivot will have an important role in the upcoming episode along with an important sequence between Barry Allen and Rogues. The episode will also cover the story of Mark Mardon, played by Liam McIntyre, and the consequences.

The three villains will also be seen together, including Wentworth Miller, Mark Hamill and Mark Mardon. The trio will work together in order to defeat their common enemy. It will be interesting to see the story lines moving ahead with the villain scoop.

The next segments are about to bring Barry and Patty close as their relationship is eventually growing. The “Flash” finale is titled as “Running to Stand Still.”
