Vandal Savage portrayed by guest star Casper Crump (Helium) wants to take Kendra Saunders (a still wingless Hawkgirl) as captive. This will set-off the 2-hour crossover which begins in “The Flash” and will end in the upcoming episode of “Arrow” as mentioned in TV Line.
“We have a common villain [in Vandal], which was not the case last year. And, just in general, we’ve done an excellent job of weaving not just two shows, but three shows together,” Stephen Amell (Arrow) revealed to the website.
With Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) wisely hiding Saunders in Star City from the immortal time traveller, the next episode of “The Flash” will have Allen’s team on a defensive stance in the Arrow’s aforementioned city. However, not everything comes into plan as a mysterious bird-like figure takes off with Saunders which has been identified as Hawkman played by another “Legends of Tomorrow” actor Falk Hentschel.
It has been mentioned also that Iris West and his father, Joe West will not have any major participation in this gathering. Such an upset is likely as the episode will be filled to the rafters with every possible superhero crime fighter as posted by producer Mark Guggenheim in his Twitter account.
As Amell also happened to mentioned pertaining to the posted image, “we shot a scene… that had, like, nine superheroes in it.”
Another new development for the upcoming episode will have Jay Garrick (guest star Teddy Sears) of Earth -2 allegedly regain his super-speed as he is being made the test subject for an experimental serum concocted by Harrison Wells of Earth – 2 (Tom Cavanagh). This supposed brew is expected to make Barry run even faster.
THE FLASH/ARROW CROSSOVER – PART 1 will air 8:00-9:01:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
