In a recent update, it is speculated that “Flash” and “Supergirl” are about to have a crossover. Although, there was no possibility of the crossover earlier, but now the sources have revealed that the plot is already under development for the cross over to happen. According to Cinema Blend, it is alleged that for making the cross over to happen CBS would need to extend the segments featuring Melissa Benoist series while the “Supergirl” will have to have a run of 22 episodes for the season to reach the extension on crossover.
However, there has been no announcement done on the crossover scoop as of now, and neither anyone from channel or the showrunners have broken the news. But there is always a scope for the two to match up; there have been several rumors in the past too but nothing substantial came up.
CBS has half stake of CW, which means there won’t be any hassles to bring one characters from one show to another. It is further alleged that CBS executives are comfortable with the idea of shuffling characters during crossover but nothing has been sure as of now.
In a recent update it is speculated that CBS is about to make a final decision on “Flash” and “Supergirl” crossover in the upcoming months, until then the news remains a rumour.
