Television crossovers, no matter what the genre, are events that fans and viewers alike often look forward to. However, events that allow well-loved superheroes to team in not just one, but two superhero shows, are something to watch out for, indeed. However, this year’s “The Flash” and “Arrow” is a little bit different and little bit more exciting than last year’s crossover, especially as around nine or so superheroes and anti-heroes will be featured in the crossover event that will introduce the CW’s third superhero show, “Legends of Tomorrow”. In line with this, more than forty new pictures regarding that episode have been released, and a little more “Arrow” and “The Flash” spoilers have also been given out, as an extra treat. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the upcoming episodes of “The Flash”- “Legends of Today”, and “Arrow”- “Legends of Yesterday”. Read on to learn more about these episodes and more.
In anticipation for the DC superhero television crossover event of the year, TV Line has just released a whopping number of first look promotional photos, that show fans and viewers what to expect from the upcoming crossover episodes “Legends of Today” from “The Flash” and “Legends of Yesterday” from the “Arrow.”
These episodes, of course, will allow Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to assemble the team that will be featured in the third DC and CW show, “Legends of Tomorrow.”
Some of the pictures seem to be set in the Arrowcave, where Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) reunite, with Cisco Ramone (Carlos Valdes) and Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) in tow.
It’s also in the Arrowcave where Kendra finally meets her male counterpart, Hawkman.
Another picture is set in a more secluded cabin, where Carter Hall or Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) introduces Kendra to who she was destined to be.
Another picture shows the entire team in street clothes, talking inside a house, with Felicity; and another picture shows the entire team, with the exception of some heroes and anti-heroes, in their costumes.
Also, TV Line recently reported that another stumbling block will be thrown towards Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity as a scene reminiscent of the scene that briefly showed one of Oliver’s ex-girlfriends who disappeared along with their unborn child, will be seen.
TV Line also discovered that there will some interesting future episodes that will be a little bit more Iris West (Candice Patton) somewhere down the line, and Comic Book Resources has just confirmed that King Shark will not be returning anytime soon, as there was a rumor going around that King Shark will appear in the crossover episode.
