Former EXO member Tao has sat down and was interviewed by “People In News” regarding the controversies that he’s currently in involving his departure from the popular Kpop group, his words against Kris, etc.
He was asked again about what really happened that led him to leave EXO, Tao said that he got leg injury and his father asked him to come home to China but he didn’t return and even argued with his father over it. Tao still wouldn’t reveal specific details about the incident but remains confident that he will win the lawsuit he filed against SM Entertainment (via allKpop).
Tao was then asked about his criticism against his ex co-member Kris via social media,
“I’m an honest person. If I’m down, I’m down, and if I’m happy, I’m happy. I don’t think I have to hide anything. I wish to be myself. If I have something to say, I say it. It’s because it’s my life. I try to enjoy it and spend my days happily. All I have to do is realize my goals.”
He also said that he went through such a hard time when he left EXO with all the negativity everywhere but he assured his fans that he came back stronger and he knows that nothing will break him now.
Tao was also asked his opinion regarding Kris and Luhan’s departure from EXO and he said that they probably have their own reasons why they left. On the other hand, he said that he feels frustrated because he is forbidden to say anything right now but he will reveal details when the time is right.
Tao is aiming to promote Chinese music all over the world and he wants to be recognised for it.
