“The Fosters” Season 2 starts airing on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC Family. We pick up from where the family has left off in Season 1. Proceed with caution. This article contains spoilers about Season 2. Read only if you want to learn more about it.
Just a little recap of the Season 1 finale, Callie and her brother, Jude, was supposed to be adopted by Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum). However, a problem suddenly popped out. It turned out that Callie (Maia Mitchell) has a different biological father. The Fosters only managed to officially adopt Jude (Hayden Byerly). Lena, on the other hand, is pregnant. Stef was not supportive of the idea at first but ended up accepting it. As for Brandon (David Lambert), he was ambushed by his peers.
For some Season 2 spoilers, Zap2it has reported that Callie will finally be able to meet the man behind Robert Quinn. Kerr Smith (“Dawson’s Creek”) will play Callie’s never-been-seen father. He will get in the way as Fosters pushes through with Callie’s adoption.
Another character will join the drama next season. She is no other than Ashley Argota (“True Jackson, VP”) according to TV Line. Argota will star as the musically inclined Lou, whom Brandon takes an interest. Would still there be a possible Brandon and Callie reunion upon Lou’s arrival?
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, David Lambert revealed some details about his character, Brandon, for Season 2. Lambert mentioned that with everything Brandon has been through, he is going to feel for a need to restart, refresh. He would be trying to figure out about certain things and explore his musical skills. He added that Brandon would focus first on himself before on another girl.
