During the Emmy Awards season, fans of television shows eagerly await the results and awards that their favorite television shows will be given. However, in the past years, another form of media has found its way into the public and into the hearts of viewers- so much so, that it has its own version of the Emmy Awards.

The digital domain, once populated by reruns of television shows, and homemade videos have greatly evolved. Today, there are news shows, drama and comedy web shows,  animated shows, and educational shows. The digital domain, spanning across all multimedia platforms, have given non-mainstream and aspiring actors, directors, writers and filmmakers to try out what they can truly do. And all this hard work pays off in the Streamy Awards. And this year’s Streamy Awards is no exception, as seen in the newly released of nominees for the Fourth Annual Streamy Awards. Read on to learn more about this story.

The 4th Annual Streamy Awards recognizes those that have excelled in the form of digital and online video, from commercials and campaigns to web shows, and traditional television shows.

According to the Streamy’s official website, the Awards ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, in California on Sept. 7, 2014. The ceremony will stream live on The Streamy Awards’ official website, at 7:30 p.m, where fourteen categories will be awarded. The winners of the other categories will be announced during the Official Nominees Reception on Sept. 4, 2014, Thursday, at the YouTube Space LA in Playa Vista, in California.
