Fresh Off the Boat Finale Spoilers: Is Huang Family Saying Goodbye for Good?

The Huangs will say goodbye for now in the upcoming episode of “Fresh Off the Boat” (FOTB) Finale, which airs on Tuesday, Apr. 21, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. Read on to know what is going to happen.

Fashion and Style’s synopsis stated that Louis is going to accept an invitation to Orlando’s country club. However, Jessica insists that her husband must reject it because of fear that their Chinese authenticity will be lost. Her decision is an unpredictable one. It was because she used to like going to country clubs after watching the film “Caddyshack.” She becomes persistent in reconnecting with the family’s culture that she even forces Eddie to make a report about China for the World Day.

Promo teaser photos are also released to show Louis having a great time with his diners wearing “Rib Bibs” at Cattleman’s Ranch. Jessica is with the neighbors, hanging out and drinking martinis at the restaurant.

There is no confirmation yet whether the show will be canceled or renewed. Director Nahnatchka Khan explained that everyone in her team is prepared for both results. She told Hollywood Reporter that the story is solid enough to end early and, at the same time, flexible that it could be stretched out to Season 2 with more character development.

“We went through, character by character, to see where we wanted to leave things for everybody and came up with a really cool way to have the Huang story feel not wrapped up but in a way paying off a lot of stuff that we set up at the beginning…” Khan said.

“Fresh Off the Boat” airs every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
