“Frozen 2” is getting an awesome makeover with evolving characters and addressing socially impactful causes. Although, it is still unclear what the actual plot is going to be but Anna and Elsa are sure to take this to another level.
“Frozen 2” is already speculated to be a huge blockbuster opening from Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The duo is working hard towards using their position to make an impact on the society. Chris Buck has stated to MTV while confirming working on “Frozen 2.”
“I think we’re very aware of what is happening in society. I don’t think any of us take [them] lightly, even though they can be very funny and entertaining, the messages that our movies have and the influence they can have on young people.” Buck said.
There had been many speculations that “Frozen 2” might address LGBT cause by making Elsa a lesbian. But then, that is just a speculation because something like this from an animated Disney movie is too much expectation.
Anna and Elsa will for sure go through many changes. While, Anna’s character is yet to evolve at par, Elsa will be lighting up a bit. Buck has also stated that “Frozen 2” is going to be a light fun movie but might have an emotional end.
There is for sure a big duet coming up which will be challenging “Let It Go” from “Frozen.” According to Telegraph Film Critic, Tim Robey, “I think they’ll definitely try to position one song as a Let It Go-trumping central number. At a guess, though, it might be a duet between the sisters. They only shared about four scenes in the first film.”
While, Robie Collin, who is also from Telegraph Film Critic, thinks that a sequel might not be up to making a musical duet a success. Collins add that even if there is a duet then it has to be about the sisters growing above stronger against evil forces.
