One of the extra and exclusive clips, however, which features Wan and “Game of Thrones” star Emmanuel, the newcomer to the “Fast & Furious” franchise, shows the cast and crew dealt with the devastating loss that they suffered when they lost one of their own cast member. It was shown in a way, serves as a tribute, and a final farewell to the character who started it all, alongside Vin Diesel’s Dominic “Dom” Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez’s Leticia “Letty” Ortiz, and Jordana Brewster’s Mia Toretto.

In the trailer for the Blu-Ray release, Rodriguez stated how that they had to bid farewell to “someone very special.”  Diesel once again reiterated that every member of the cast and crew were like family, and hopes that the feeling of “family” will be conveyed to the audiences who watch Walker’s final movie.

In the exclusive clip, according to Entertainment Weekly, writer and producer Chris Morgan mentioned how difficult it was for them to lose Walker in the middle of filming the movie. However, he decided to push through with it after they all realized that Walker would have wanted them to have finished it until the very end.

Because of the strong sense of family between the cast and crew members, Cinema Blend noticed that they didn’t just use the late actor’s death as a catalyst for the upcoming movies, but made an effort to give his character, Brian O’Connor, the happiness that he deserves. It meant using Paul’s brothers, Cody and Caleb, when shooting scenes with Brian, and using some CGI effects to finish off the entire look.
