With “Fury” acquiring a new release date set for the month of October, Columbia Pictures releases a UK trailer that is centered on war rookie, Norman, played by Logan Lerman. Read on to learn more about this story.
“I had the best gunner in the entire 9th Army in that seat. And now I got you,” uttered the Wardaddy, who is played by Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt, towards their newly acquired soldier, Norman (Lerman), in the first trailer that Columbia Pictures released for the WWII pic, “Fury.” For the recently released UK trailer, it now focuses on the begrudging pressures of Norman with what he has to endure as he becomes part of the tank’s crew.
According to Screen Rant, the trailer features all new clips that are more centered on the introductory tribulations that Norman has to go through with. Being the new member of the tank infantry, he is faced with the regular struggles that every soldier has had to go through with during the World Wa IIr. It’s also evident that his troubles not only goes to being the rookie but also the pressure of adapting to the ways of his team’s ragged and headstrong customs.
Apart from the concentrated introduction based on Norman’s view, the trailer also showcases in depth clips that reveal the movie’s heavy story line. There’s a montage of dramatic shots that indicate a final collision between the M4A3E8 Sherman tank crew and the German army, with them waiting as if baited like sitting ducks.
A movie that came from the creative conceptualization of writer/director David Ayers, “Fury” is set during the April of 1945 that follows a crew of Americans taking on a mission with intense courage. Their Allies are on their last effort to push through the final rakes of their defense as Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) leads his five-man crew under a Sherman tank to face the highly intimidating enemy flanks. Despite the odds going against them greatly, their team trudges on with their heroic attempts of seizing the enemy lines at the heart of Nazi Germany. (via First Showing)
Coming from the esteemed production of Columbia Pictures, “Fury” also features the acting of Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs. It is scheduled for release on Oct. 17, 2014.
