‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Hitting US IMAX Theaters

Winter is coming to IMAX Theaters sooner than in Westeros. HBO has just announced some really exciting news for “Game of Thrones” fans. Read on for further details.

According to Rolling Stone, HBO will release their exclusive “Game of Thrones” Season 5 trailer on IMAX. It will include the remastered Season 4 episodes: “The Watchers on the Wall” and “The Children.” The trailer. which was originally made for IMAX, will be shown in 150 theaters in the US.

Theater and ticket information can be seen on the IMAX website in the next coming days.

“Game of Thrones” Season 5 is set to premiere April 2015, and we may be just a few months away, this upcoming exclusive trailer is something to spike up our excitement. Details regarding the upcoming season is being kept under wraps although a few details have already leaked such as Bran Stark, Meera and Hodor won’t be seen this season.

The lack of one of the Starks may be quite a change, but the show is making up for it by adding a number of new characters such as Doran Martell who will be played by Alexander Siddig. We will also see the other Martells such as Doran’s son played by Toby Sebastian, Trystane, and Nell Tiger. Moreover, we will be able to get Myrcella Baratheon.

The IMAX screening of “Game of Thrones” would be a huge kickoff for this year for the network in terms of their marketing and promotion.
