A lot of Whovians are highly anticipating the return of “Doctor Who” Series 9 but it won’t be here until a couple of months, though. The good news is the show has just announced such exciting news that will happen this season! Seems like a raven is coming…

Game of Thrones’” Maisie Williams has confirmed that she will guest star in “Doctor Who” Series 9. She will be featured in two episodes titled “The Girl Who Died” and “The Woman Who Lived.”

Stephen Moffat released a statement about Williams, “We’re thrilled to have Maisie Williams joining us on ‘Doctor Who.’ It’s not possible to say too much about who or what she’s playing, but she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Miasie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell.”

As for Williams, she said that she’s excited to be working on ‘Doctor Who’ that is “such a big and important part of British culture.” She also said that they are shooting near her hometown: Bristol, England.

Williams plays Arya Stark in “Game of Thrones.” Her character is known to play the ferocious, brave, yet noble Stark child, which is why Whovians are expecting to see the same thing in her upcoming cameo in “Doctor Who” Series 9.

“Doctor Who” Series 9 will air on BBC One in Autumn 2015.
