‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Update: An Epic Battle Of 6 Armies Plus Bran Stark At The Tower of Joy

A huge battle is about to happen in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. And this is definitely a-must-see. Photos resurfaced online of the said battle as well as the Tower of Joy, which fans are dying to see. Read on for more details.

The major battle that is going to happen on “Game of Thrones” Season 6 involves the fight for the control of Winterfell. It is said that this particular scene will be seen in Episode 9 of the series. Aside from that, sources have sent photos to Watchers On The Wall showing that there are 6 armies and the production team is calling it the Battle of 6 Armies.

One of the armies were seen carrying the Stark banner while the other army carries the House of Mormont Banner. Another banner is speculated to belong to House Hornwood. The user who has posted these teaser photos have soon deleted it but it confirmed the battle scene in “GOT” Season 6 and it is also described as “epic.” Yes, it looks like it’s going to be an epic battle that we are all looking forward to. What’s “Game of Thrones” without gore, violence and battles, anyway?

Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran Stark, is returning this season and is currently filming at Castillo de Zafra in Spain, which is believed to be the Tower of Joy. His presence suggests that he’s filming a flashback scene. It would show the roots of Jon Snow played by Kit Harrington and it may be through Bran’s visions. Reports are saying that this particular flashback will involve Lyanna Stark, who is being speculated by fans as the true mother of Jon Snow.

The flashback scene would also involve a battle as 14 horses were seen involved in it and it will be filmed at the Tower of Hoy. There are also some rumours that Ian McElhinney will play the role of Barristan Selmy.
