“Game of Thrones” fans have all been so hyped up for the most awaited update on the fate of Winterfell’s favorite bastard, Jon Snow—but what about Ned Stark’s other son, Bran?

Entertainment Weekly reports that another thing to look forward to in Season 6 is Bran’s (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) reappearance in the HBO’s hit series, after being away for a year.

Bran was last seen meeting with the cave-dwelling supernatural Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow) in the final episode of Season 4, as Bran pursued to take control of his untried extrasensory powers.

According to Yahoo TV, the actor guarantees that the second youngest Stark Son will definitely have honed his special abilities. “’I would have just been sitting in a cave going, ‘Oh, I can nearly do it now,’” he kiddingly said why it was best for Bran be on break during the whole of Season 5.

“Game of Thrones” fans can anticipate a showcase of some sort, as Bran will definitely be “putting his powers to the test”. “Previously Bran’s seen tiny glimpses of future or past, but never has he been very much in control in the situation,” Hempstead-Wright said. “Now we’re given looks into very important events in the past, present and future of this world and Bran is beginning to piece them together like a detective, almost as if he’s watching the show.” he added.

“Game of Thrones” will start its brand new season in April.
