Georgina Wilson Faces Complaint from Manager Because of Samsung Deal – Asia’s Next Top Model

The stunning British-Filipino host of “Asia’s Next Top Model” (AsNTM), Georgina Wilson, is experiencing a fallout recently with her manager, Shirley Kuan. Read on for details.

According to, Kuan has dropped Wilson from her list of talents because of a Samsung deal.  It was reported that mobile brand negotiated directly with Wilson to close a deal rather than going through the process with the talent manager first. Kuan felt that her authority as a manager has been compromised.

Wilson’s former manager announced that she would file a legal complaint against the brand and her former client. She stated that Samsung is led by “unprofessional executives.” She explained that a Samsung agent actually called for Wilson in Kuan’s office and received a rate after the conversation.

Kuan got furious when the agent did not call her back because the deal was already set with Wilson. She described the move as “very rude” and decided to ask other people “to pass it on.”

“Please pass so the public may know of their rudeness! No class! Uneducated bunch in Samsung!!!” Kuan told

Rappler added that Wilson has no comment regarding the issue. During the launch of the book “Besties,” which was written by her and Filipino celebrity Solenn Heussaff, on Sunday, Apr. 19, 2015, Wilson told the press that only her lawyer could talk about her issue with Kuan. Wilson also claimed that she actually talked about the issue with her manager.

Wilson became an official brand ambassador for Samsung Galaxy S6 on Friday, Apr. 17, 2015, after the launching at SM Mega Fashion Hall.
