ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder” made a vow to reveal Rebecca’s (Katie Findlay) murderer in the premiere of season two and finally the murderer is none other than Liza Weil’s character Bonnie, who suffocated her with a plastic bag. The premiere episode showed Bonnie confessing her fault of killing Rebecca to Annalise (Viola Davis, who became the first black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder”). According to The Hollywood Reporter, the executive producer of “How to Get Away with Murder,” Peter Nowalk threw some light on the upcoming episodes so that the fans and viewers can get a sneak peak on what they can expect throughout the entire season.
After Lila (Megan West) and Annalise’s husband Sam (Tom Verica) were killed, suddenly the series brought the unexpected killing of Rebecca. When Rebecca’s murderer is revealed in the new season, Annalise was shot. Nowalk was asked if the series would be going like each murder to be covered up with another. In reply, Nowalk compared the series with a mob show. According to him, that’s what usually happen in a mob show and in “How to Get Away with Murder” Annalise can be called a mobster (rather a cooler mobster) in her own way.
While talking about the unknown character who shot Annalise, Nowalk teased that there would be a lot of people who would like to do that and the series would be revealing that mystery all season long. Oppositely, from his statement “we are not a ghost show,” it’s cleared that Rebecca is totally dead and will not reprise her role.
Cartermatt gives the synopsis of the third episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” season 2 entitled “It’s Called the Octopus” (to be aired on Oct. 8, 2015) below:
“When Annalise takes on a new client, the team must investigate a very high end sex club to get answers. Meanwhile, Annalise is still representing the siblings accused of killing their parents, but the case takes a turn for the worse when a new motive surfaces and Wes teams up with an unexpected ally.”
